Our society is going through politically volatile and sensitive periods. Lack of political knowledge increases the crises facing the country. The Hexa Community, through its Governance and Civic Engagement Program (GCEP) aims to improve the situation, even if by a small scale; reinforcing civic engagement by utilizing available technology, in addition to supporting the authorities in the field of e-governance, leading eventually to good governance via a series of governmental and technical procedures. HC is working on implementing a series of projects to achieve the GCEP, which aims to reinforce civic engagement significantly by connecting authorities and decision-makers with citizens in a more effective manner by utilizing available technology. The GCEP is not limited to providing platforms, but goes beyond that to training and improving competence of governmental sectors, in addition to enhancing digital safety to ensure wider and more effective civic engagement.
