In honor of “IEEE Day,” the world’s largest technical professional association, Hexa Connection hosted a celebration on October 3rd, 2017, in Tripoli.
A crowd of over 200 attendees was informed of IEEE’s goals, projects, and beneficial membership for students and technology professionals.
After the introduction, the course of the event shifted towards the importance of this association in Libya and the plans for the future.
One of Egypt section members, who supports the establishment of an IEEE branch in Libya, addressed the association and its benefits via video record.
